氣象專家林得恩今（1）早透過臉書發文，表示昨日天氣，受環境風場轉為偏南風影響，各地氣溫明顯回升，嘉義以南地區白天最高溫幾乎都衝破攝氏30度；加上水氣減少，臺灣各地大多為多雲到晴，僅東部、東南部地區及恆春半島有零星小範圍的短暫陣雨，接著預告「未來幾天天氣，彷彿洗三溫暖」。
氣象專家林得恩在臉書粉專「林老師氣象站」發文表示，今、明2日天氣型態相似，「甚至，天氣將更為溫暖炎熱，屬於穩定晴朗的好天氣。」

林得恩預告，3日晚起至4日受鋒面接近、通過及大陸冷氣團南下影響，臺灣各地天氣立馬轉冷；西半部地區及基隆北海岸都有短暫陣雨或雷雨發生的機會。
林得恩接著點名山區，有局部較大雨勢發生的機率；其它地區亦有局部短暫陣雨或雷雨。整個溫度，從原先的攝氏30度或以上，直接驟降到攝氏12至14度；天氣也從原先的大晴天，轉為雷雨交加天氣；環境相對溼度也同時暴增到80至90%以上。
