遠東新是在2018年，透過子公司遠東投資（控股）投資美國；遠東投資與泰國Indoram a Ventures Holdings LP及墨西哥Alpek, S.A.B. de C.V.合資，以11.25億美元共同取得原先M＆G USA Corp.位於美國德州聖體市、興建中年產能130萬噸的純對苯二甲酸（PTA）及年產能110萬噸聚酯（PET）廠。

根據協議，遠東新等三方各出資三分之一，遠東投資出資金額為3.75億美元，未來三方將依比率分別獨立採購原料及取得產出數量。

依照三方合作計畫，遠東新之子公司將陸續依美國德州聖體市PTA／PET一貫廠工程進度視需求分批增資，並依規定於一年內累積現金增資金額達新台幣三億元以上即代子公司進行重大訊息公告。Antennas for Military vehicles or Vehicular antennas for heavy-duty use, such as in the forest or in remote locations on armored vehicles, and low-profile antennas for civil vehicles.
