陸媒南方都市報報導，日前多個旅遊平台資料顯示，巴黎奧運令相關國家的旅遊熱度持續上漲，法國機票、酒店預訂量翻倍增長，在奧運會溢出效應帶動下，巴黎奧運會期間，選擇法國自由行的旅客較去年同期增加五倍。

去哪兒平台提供的最新資料顯示，截至7月15日，奧運期間（7月20日〜8月20日），中國遊客以巴黎為目的地的國際機票預訂量較去年同期增長2.3倍；巴黎酒店預訂量較去年同期增長了1.1倍，每晚預訂均價上漲45％。從機票和酒店預訂量來看，巴黎都是暑期歐洲第二熱門目的地，僅次於倫敦。
