兒童與親子理財近年來受到許多爸媽重視，國內最大基金交易平台－基富通指出，父母運用子女紅包、獎助學金或小額理財的情形越來越普遍，而且平台上超過8成採取定期定額方式規劃子女未來高等教育的基金，同時藉由親子理財過程，為孩子建立良好的價值觀與妥善使用金錢的方法。

觀察父母為子女定期定額的基金類型，股票型基金仍居大宗，占比達75％，其次是平衡型基金，達2成左右，反映投資人較為年輕，能適度承擔風險，所以投資屬性偏向積極為主、穩健為輔。
