國民黨團立法院總召傅崐萁昨天（2日）在花蓮中正體育場舉辦問政說明，一名拿過師鐸獎的80歲退休老師葉春蓮（葉霸）當場開嗆「通匪」、「打倒傅崐萁」，但葉老師隨後被架出場外。葉春蓮今天受訪表示，原本以為是要領樹苗才走進去會場，看到他（傅崐萁）拿麥克風講話愚弄民眾，我感到很生氣，要他不要再到處做壞事。

對於有人說她是民進黨的側翼，葉春蓮表示，他們講這些並不新鮮，我不在意，可以的話，我也很願意當綠營的側翼，這是我的光榮。我覺得目前我們自己看，不要否認蔡英文的政績，也不要否認民進黨執政，有很多人是很認真做事，而且做得比「中國黨」漂亮。

葉春蓮強調，我又沒有犯錯，我只是想為我們的國家、我們的社會，可以做甚麼事情，在體育館發生的事情，也是因為那個環境，刺激到我的反應而已，我沒有要做甚麼，個人的力量實在是太渺小，假如可以起到一點點影響，可以讓同學知道老師怎麼想的。

對於同學感念對他們的教育，發文打氣。葉春蓮表示，我非常感謝，還記得老師，我也希望他們記得學校，記得以前小時候長大到現在，有沒有變成對國家社會有用的人，因為我年紀大了，對你們比較重要。
