地形監測資料越來越精確，經濟部地質調查及礦業管理中心(地礦中心)今(20日)進行北北基三地的「山崩與地滑地質敏感區」更新預告，新版擴增基隆1.6％面積為易山崩敏感區，6月才發生坍方的潮境公園周邊被劃入。另台北、新北面積則有小縮減，原因圖資更豐富剔除不符標準地形，但汐止鵠鵠崙地區有擴增崩塌潛勢範圍，另新增陽金公路一帶。

一旦被劃為地質敏感區，地礦中心表示，範圍內有土地開發行為前，都需做「基地地質調查」與「地質安全評估」，報告需送交建管、水保等主管機關，納為准駁審理參考。即使通過可施作，在設計施工方面，也要研擬適當的因應對策及補強措施，降低災害風險。
