深陷營運困境的美國晶片龍頭英特爾周一（2日）宣布，公司執行長季辛格（Pat Gelsinger）已於12月1日正式退休。消息公布後，英特爾股價於盤前交易大漲逾4%。
英特爾宣布，季辛格同時也辭去公司董事會職務，而公司董事會已成立專責委員會，積極尋找接替季辛格的正式繼任者。
在找到執行長繼任人選之前，英特爾現任財務長辛斯納（David Zinsner）與高階主管Michelle Johnston Holthaus將擔任臨時聯合執行長。
