因應未來高齡化社會、有利辦理長照機構，不僅可以免地價稅、房屋稅，財政部今日核釋，未來長照機構在興建期，也可以免地價稅。

財政部表示，長照機構原可以免房屋稅與地價稅，但是有長照機構來反映，希望可以延伸至興建期，未因應未來的高齡社會，財政部發布認定原則，長照機構興建期可以免地價稅。

不過未來長照機構要申請兩次免稅，包含興建期的免稅，要檢具財團法人登記證書、土地自有證明文件、建築管理機關核發的建造、長照機構主管機關核准的籌設許可或者核准擴充等相關證明文件。

興建完成開始使用後，就必須提供財團法人證書、房地自有證明文件以及長照機構主管機關核發的設立許可證書等。

此外，興建期間如果遲未開，在執照失效後，就視同未興建，不僅要恢復課徵地價稅，原本免稅期間也要補徵；如果是執照核發後已經動工，但是動工期限過長，導致核發期限過期，建築期限的次年起開始徵收地價稅。但如果最後仍完成，經核可後也可以申請興建期間免稅。
